System Engineer

Job Summary

Maintains and supports Linux servers, middleware and storage infrastructure in APAC.

Reporting line : Head of Server, Storage and Database

Key Responsibilities

• Supports and maintains technologies within the Clients Asia perimeter, including but not limited to :
• RHEL 7 / 8
• Middleware (Weblogic / MQSeries / Control M)
• Storage (Netapp / EMC)
• Backup and Restore
• Satellite, Ansible, IDM
• Lead and work with Linux and Windows, IT Security and the application team on the Obsolescence project.
• Remove EOL OS and application by migration or decommission.
• Resolve vulnerability issues.
• Work closely with the Asia head of IT security, Risk and Compliance to ensure Natixis systems comply with security guidelines and regulatory requirements.
• Ensure Natixis assets are properly used, inventoried and monitored.
• Documentation related to the deployed solutions and ensured they are updated regularly.
• Reports, follows up and escalate, if necessary, any incident in a timely manner and ensure it has been logged.
