Description

We are looking for a skilled Desktop Engineer to join our team in Surat. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing technical support, troubleshooting, and maintenance of desktops, laptops, and related hardware and software. The candidate will work closely with other team members to ensure that all technology needs are met, and end-users are satisfied with their IT experience.

Responsibilities

Provide technical support and troubleshoot desktops, laptops, and related hardware and software
Install, configure, and maintain operating systems, applications, and other software
Manage user accounts and permissions
Maintain inventory and asset management of hardware and software
Assist with network and server administration tasks
Ensure all technology-related issues are resolved in a timely and effective manner
Document technical procedures and best practices

Skills and Qualifications

1-6 years of experience in desktop support or related field

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field

Experience with Windows operating systems (Windows 7, 8, 10)

Experience with Microsoft Office Suite and other desktop applications

Experience with Active Directory and user account management

Experience with hardware troubleshooting and repair

Experience with network and server administration

Excellent problem-solving and communication skills

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified Desktop Support Technician (MCDST), or Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA) are preferred
