Description
We are looking for a skilled Desktop Engineer to join our team in Surat. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing technical support, troubleshooting, and maintenance of desktops, laptops, and related hardware and software. The candidate will work closely with other team members to ensure that all technology needs are met, and end-users are satisfied with their IT experience.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical support and troubleshoot desktops, laptops, and related hardware and software
- Install, configure, and maintain operating systems, applications, and other software
- Manage user accounts and permissions
- Maintain inventory and asset management of hardware and software
- Assist with network and server administration tasks
- Ensure all technology-related issues are resolved in a timely and effective manner
- Document technical procedures and best practices
Skills and Qualifications
1-6 years of experience in desktop support or related fieldBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related fieldExperience with Windows operating systems (Windows 7, 8, 10)Experience with Microsoft Office Suite and other desktop applicationsExperience with Active Directory and user account managementExperience with hardware troubleshooting and repairExperience with network and server administrationExcellent problem-solving and communication skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamCertifications such as CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified Desktop Support Technician (MCDST), or Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA) are preferredSkills Required
