Product Development Intern

Job descriptionStrong written communication; structured thinking; bias to ship. Basic Figma (autolayout, components, prototyping) and Notion / Docs hygiene. Comfort with user research and synthesizing insights. Bonus : analytics basics (funnels, cohorts), SQL / Sheets chops. Curious, respectful collaborator; open to feedback. 30 : You’ve shipped a small flow improvement with measurable lift. 60 : You own a scoped problem area with a research → prototype → test loop. 90 : You’ve shipped an MVP and a follow-up iteration with learnings documented.
SwayamWhere is a modern, values-aligned matrimony brand. As a Product Intern , you’ll turn user insights into clear flows and lightweight MVPs. Success looks like crisp problem statements, fast iterations, and measurable impact. This role partners closely with Design, Marketing, and Founders; strong performers receive PPO with ESOPs after the 6-month internship.
Responsibilities
- Translate user problems into PRDs, wireframes, and click-through prototypes (Figma).
- Map user journeys, edge cases, and acceptance criteria; keep scope tight.
- Run lean user research : quick interviews, feedback calls, and usability tests.
- Ship 0→1 experiments with engineering / design; document in Notion.
- Track outcomes (activation, retention proxies, qualitative signals) in Sheets / GA / Amplitude.
- Communicate progress with clear async updates and demo reviews.
