Assistant Lead Engineer - Wind Resource Assessment

We are seeking a highly skilled Assistant Lead Engineer to join our Global Siting Solutions team. This role is crucial for supporting the sales process by providing high-quality technical analysis and project design. You will be responsible for wind and site statistical modeling , optimizing wind turbine layouts, and performing load assessments. The ideal candidate will have a strong engineering background with a specific focus on wind resource assessment and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced, global environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Wind & Site Analysis : Conduct wind and site statistical modeling and analyses to determine wind resource and site characteristics.
• Layout Design & Optimization : Develop and optimize wind turbine site layouts and configurations based on power production, construction considerations, and conformance with industry standards.
• Load Assessment : Verify wind turbine design life by performing detailed load calculations .
• Sales & Project Support : Maintain sales and project processes by preparing technical and commercial responses for customers, consultants, and colleagues.
• Documentation : Ensure all project documentation is accurate and thorough, with a consistent attention to detail.
