We are currently looking for Assistant Manager - Projects professional
Roles and responsibilities :
- Coordinate and monitor the status of people, processes, and materials across multiple customer wind turbine projects.
- Manage inter-project material planning and allocation (e.g., identify unused components at one customer site and reassign to another as needed).
- Track delivery timelines, site readiness, and installation schedules to ensure smooth project execution.
- Work closely with manufacturing, logistics, site teams, and customer project managers to align dependencies and resolve bottlenecks.
- Maintain real-time visibility of inventory (at plant, in transit, and at customer sites) and proactively identify optimization opportunities.
- Flag risks and delays and coordinate cross-functional responses.
- Ensure documentation and status reporting is updated and shared with stakeholders regularly.
- Collaborate with Quality, Engineering, and SCM teams to resolve technical issues related to component readiness and project Degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, or Industrial Management. It is preferred.
- MBA or PG in Operations Management (preferred)
- Experience in renewable energy, wind turbine, or heavy engineering industries is a strong plus.
Technical skills :
Strong understanding of wind turbine components and project lifecycleExperience in project coordination, especially across multiple customer sitesProficient in MS Excel, ERP systems (e.g., SAP), and project tracking toolsKnowledge of supply chain, logistics, and material management .Soft skills :
Strong cross-functional coordination and communicationProactive problem-solver with attention to detailAbility to prioritize and juggle multiple tasks / projectsHigh ownership and customer-centric mindsetAnalytical thinking and structured reportingExperience : 6-8 Years
