Key Responsibilities :
- Assist in conducting legal due diligence of land parcels by collecting, reviewing, and validating title and revenue documents.
- Examine legal documents such as title deeds , sale / lease agreements , mutation records , encumbrance certificates , RTC , Khata , etc.
- Identify discrepancies in land ownership history and highlight legal risks , disputes, or pending litigations.
- Support the preparation of legal summaries , title reports, and checklists under the guidance of senior legal professionals.
- Coordinate with government authorities (e.g., sub-registrar, tahsildar, land revenue departments) and external counsel for legal opinions and verification.
- Maintain organized documentation and legal records as per compliance standards and company policy.
- Liaise with surveyors and notaries for confirmation of land boundaries and ownership.
- Contribute to internal compliance by keeping due diligence records up to date and accessible for audits.
