About GIHThe Great Indian Hackathon (GIH) 2025 is recognized as India’s most beginner-friendly hackathon, built on the motto : “We teach coding before you hack.” We empower students to learn, innovate, and build through a unique hands-on learning experience. Now, we’re scaling to reach students across India and around the world, and we’re inviting passionate college students to join our team as Global Outreach & Growth Interns.Role OverviewAs a Global Outreach & Growth Intern, you’ll play a key role in driving student registrations for GIH 2025. This is a fully remote, performance-based internship where you’ll use your digital marketing, communication, and outreach skills to promote India’s biggest learning-first hackathon.What You’ll Do- Promote GIH 2025 among students and tech communities in India and abroad.- Drive registrations through social media, online forums, and student networks using your unique referral code.- Post verified GIH content on at least 50 relevant platforms (e.g., Reddit, Discord, LinkedIn groups, student portals).- Track your outreach metrics and share feedback with the marketing team.Rewards & IncentivesThis is a performance-based role with no earning limits : -5% commission on every successful registration.-Quick Start Bonus : Get a branded pair of earphones after your first 5 registrations (your pre-task counts as #1!).-Milestone Reward : Earn ₹10,000 + GIH Swags for every 50 registrations + 50 verified posts.-Rewards reset and repeat for every new milestone you hit.Who Can ApplyWe’re looking for : - College students (from India or abroad).- Proactive, self-motivated, and results-oriented individuals.- Strong written communication and networking skills.- Active users of LinkedIn, Instagram, Reddit, Discord, or student communities.- Passion for technology, marketing, or hackathon culture.Students involved in tech clubs, communities, or startups are especially encouraged to apply.Pre-Task (Mandatory Step)If you’re excited to join us, complete a simple pre-task to move forward.Here’s what to do : Write a short 1–2 paragraph plan answering : - How will you secure registrations for GIH2025?- Which platform / community will you target first?- What will your core message be?- Email your answers to with the subject : “GIH 2025 – Student Intern Linkedin - Your Full Name”- Once received, we’ll issue your temporary referral ID to track your registration.✅ Upon completing this pre-task successfully, you’ll receive your official joining letter as a Global Outreach & Growth Intern. We will be selecting 1 intern each from North, South, East and West India and NRIs. Please note that as per our policy, we wont be selecting International students for this post.
