Role Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional with deep expertise in the 5G Packet Core domain, including hands-on experience with virtualized (OpenStack) and containerized (Kubernetes) environments. The ideal candidate will have working knowledge of key 5G Core Network Functions (NFs) such as AMF, SMF, UPF, PCF, AUSF, NRF, NSSF, and UDSF, along with a strong grasp of 3GPP specifications (23.501, 23.502) and Service-Based Interfaces (N1-N40). Proficiency in Layer 2 / 3 networking protocols, policy and charging mechanisms, and 5GC message flows is essential. The role also demands scripting capabilities in Robot, Shell and Python, and familiarity with test tools like Spirent Landslide and DSTest. Exposure to Capacity testing is a plus.

Key Responsibilities

Requirement Analysis

Study the requirement documents thoroughly.

• Conduct detailed discussions with the engineering and development teams to understand the scope of new features.

Test Case Design

Prepare extensive test cases covering all functional aspects of the new features.

Test Environment Setup

Set up Kubernetes / OpenShift (K8s / OCP)-based clusters for functional and regression testing.

Test Automation

Automate all test cases using the Robot Framework .

Environment Maintenance

Perform regular upgrades on the test setup to align with the latest releases.

Customer Issue Support

Support analysis of issues reported from customer environments.

Capacity Testing

Execute small-capacity model tests within the functional setup to validate performance under constrained conditions.
