Plant Head (Manufacturing)

Key Responsibilities :

• Lead and oversee complete  plant operations  , including production, quality, maintenance, materials, and dispatch.
• Full ownership of  P&L management  , including budgeting, cost optimization, capacity utilization, and resource planning.
• Supervise and manage a cross-functional team across manufacturing lines (TV, Mobile, Laptop) with an emphasis on productivity and efficiency.
• Ensure strict adherence to  quality, compliance, and safety standards  across all manufacturing processes.
• Implement world-class  manufacturing practices  such as Lean, Six Sigma, TPM, and Kaizen to ensure continuous improvement.
• Drive effective  manpower planning  , training, and performance management of shopfloor and technical staff.
• Work closely with R&D, procurement, and supply chain teams to align production schedules with delivery targets.
• Monitor and drive operational KPIs including yield, downtime, rejection rates, OTIF, and OEE.
• Provide strategic inputs for  plant expansion  , layout optimization, and automation roadmap.
• Maintain robust coordination with HO, business heads, and external stakeholders including licensors and OEM / ODM partners.
