Job Purpose
Intercontinental Exchange Inc (ICE) is looking for a highly motivated and proactive individual with excellent analytical, communication, and business acumen skills to join our dynamic procurement team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the procurement process and manage the lifecycle of facilities contracts.
Responsibilities
- Procure-to-Pay : Be responsible for all aspects of the procurement process as it relates to the facilities spend category
- Procurement Liaison : Assist employees across the company in understanding the procurement process and policy
- Contract Negotiation : Review and negotiate purchasing agreements with optimal pricing and commercial terms
- Cross-Functional Collaboration : Work closely with end users, legal team, senior leadership, and suppliers to define requirements and strategize on contract negotiations
- Reporting : Track and report on procurement metrics to inform decision-making, including spend, savings, and contract performance
- Time Management : Manage and prioritize multiple competing tasks in a fast-paced environment to meet deadlines
- Risk Management : Identify and mitigate risks to the company and vendor relationships including invoice discrepancies
Knowledge And Experience
Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Real Estate, Construction Management, or related field1-3 years of indirect procurement experienceExcellent customer service and interpersonal skillsStrong cost analysis and negotiation skillsMust be able to think critically to identify and solve problemsMust possess sound judgment and meet ethical obligations to perform purchasing duties on behalf of the companyAbility to prepare clear and concise specifications and other documentationStrong knowledge of Microsoft Excel - Oracle Cloud & ServiceNow a plusPreferred understanding of procuring facilities and real estate related goods and servicesSkills Required
