We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Database Administrator (DBA) with strong expertise in PostgreSQL and experience across relational and NoSQL databases. This role involves designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable, high-performing, and secure database solutions in cloud and hybrid environments (primarily AWS). The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring data availability, performance, and reliability while driving database automation and optimization Responsibilities :

• Database Design & Architecture : Collaborate with engineering teams to design scalable, secure, and efficient database solutions on AWS and on-prem.
• Administration & Maintenance : Install, configure, upgrade, and maintain PostgreSQL, Cassandra, MongoDB, Snowflake, and Elasticsearch instances.
• Performance Optimization : Monitor and fine-tune database performance (query tuning, indexing strategies, connection pooling, caching, etc.).
• High Availability & DR : Ensure data integrity, availability, and disaster recovery through backups, replication, clustering, and failover strategies.
• Automation & Monitoring : Develop monitoring solutions, implement alert systems, and build tools to proactively identify and resolve database health issues.
• Capacity Planning & Scaling : Support application teams in schema design, workload analysis, and long-term capacity planning.
• Documentation & Governance : Maintain playbooks, SOPs, incident response procedures, and best practices for compliance and audit readiness.
• Continuous Improvement : Stay updated on emerging database technologies, recommend improvements, and drive adoption of modern data management Qualifications : Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
