Key Responsibilities :Vendor Development & ManagementIdentify, evaluate, and develop new vendors to support production requirements.Maintain strong relationships with existing suppliers to ensure consistent supply and quality.New Vendor SelectionAssess vendor capabilities based on quality, capacity, cost, and compliance criteria.Conduct vendor audits and ensure alignment with company standards.Technical Feasibility & Process VerificationVerify manufacturing process feasibility as per technical drawings and product specifications.Collaborate with design and production teams to ensure alignment with technical requirements.RFQ Management & Cost NegotiationFloat Requests for Quotations (RFQ) , perform quote analysis / comparisons , and negotiate competitive pricing.Finalize cost settlements in coordination with internal stakeholders.Product Development & Timely DeliveryCoordinate with vendors to develop new products as per required lead times and quality expectations.Track development timelines and ensure timely availability of parts / components.Supply Chain ManagementOversee end-to-end procurement processes, including material planning, order placement, and logistics.Maintain inventory levels and optimize supply chain efficiency.Travel FlexibilityWillingness to travel to vendor sites, manufacturing units, or project locations as required.Qualifications :Graduate / Diploma in Engineering (Mechanical / Production preferred) or related field1–5 years of relevant experience in vendor development and procurementStrong understanding of engineering drawings, materials, and manufacturing processesProficient in MS Excel, ERP systems, and documentationExcellent negotiation, communication, and analytical skillsWilling to travel based on operational needsSkills Required
