About The Role
The Customer Experience Data Analyst at BP Energy plays a crucial role in building and maintaining an infrastructure for structured customer experience insights. Utilizing industry-standard tools such as Power BI, AWS connectors, SAP, Salesforce, and Genesys data lakes or platforms, the analyst ensures the accurate representation of data critical for strategic business reviews and organizational decision-making. This role requires a flexible schedule supporting primarily the US time zone, with a 13 / 5 support pattern, emphasizing responsiveness and agility in data analysis and reporting. The successful candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams, translating complex data into actionable insights that enhance customer satisfaction and operational efficiency.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess a bachelor's degree in business, Finance, Economics, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field. They should have 5-7 years of experience in business analysis, reporting, or a similar analytical role, demonstrating proficiency in analyzing large datasets, identifying trends, and deriving insights. Hands-on experience with BI tools such as Power BI and Tableau, along with strong skills in Excel, SQL, and data manipulation, is essential. Familiarity with data warehouses, structured databases, and data integration tools is highly desirable. The candidate should have a solid understanding of business processes and KPIs, especially in finance, sales, marketing, or operations, and be capable of translating business needs into effective reports. Excellent communication skills, problem-solving abilities, and a team-oriented mindset are critical for success in this role. Exposure to process automation or scripting tools like Python or VBA is a plus, as is experience supporting retail or store operations.
