Automation Test Engineer - Functional / Playwright Testing

Responsibilities :

• Design, develop, and maintain robust automated test scripts for web, mobile, and API testing.
• Analyze requirements and create detailed test plans, test cases, and test data.
• Execute automated test cases, identify bugs, and work closely with developers to resolve them.
• Integrate automated tests into CI / CD pipelines.
• Perform regression, functional, integration, and performance testing.
• Document test results and maintain defect logs.
• Evaluate and recommend testing tools and frameworks for automation.
• Ensure high test coverage and reduce manual testing efforts.

Requirements :

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field.
• Experience in automation testing.
• Proficient in at least one automation tool / framework (e. g., Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, Appium).
• Strong scripting / programming skills in Java, Python, JavaScript, or similar.
• Experience testing RESTful APIs using Postman, REST Assured, etc.
• Familiarity with version control (Git), CI / CD (Jenkins, GitHub Actions), and defect tracking tools (JIRA).
• Good understanding of SDLC, STLC, and Agile methodologies.
