Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Automation Testing Engineer with a minimum of 6-10 years of experience in Playwright testing to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of automation testing, excellent communication skills, and a passion for quality assurance. This is a full-time position based in India.

Responsibilities

Design and develop automated test scripts using Playwright
Execute automated test scripts and analyze results
Collaborate with developers, product owners, and other stakeholders to identify, report and troubleshoot defects
Participate in agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives
Continuously improve test coverage and effectiveness
Develop and maintain test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and test data
Mentor junior automation testers and assist with their development

Skills and Qualifications

Minimum 6-10 years of experience in automation testing using Playwright

Strong experience with JavaScript

Experience with Agile methodologies

Experience with CI / CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or CircleCI

Experience with testing frameworks such as Mocha, Chai, or Jest

Experience with API testing using tools such as Postman or SOAP UI

Strong understanding of software testing principles and methodologies

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related field
