ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES
Key Areas Activities
General Ledger
Accounting &
Month-End Close
- Perform end-to-end GL accounting, including journal entries, accruals, and adjustments.
- Ensure all revenue, expense, and balance sheet items are accurately recorded in the accounting system.
- Prepare monthly closing packs, ensuring compliance with IFRS / US GAAP.
- Reconcile intercompany balances and prepare elimination entries.
- Conduct variance analysis and support management with P&L insights.
- Assist in preparing the monthly management reporting deck for leadership review.
Balance Sheet
Reconciliations
Prepare monthly balance sheet reconciliations and track open items to closure.Maintain and update the reconciliation tracker to monitor status and exceptions.Investigate and resolve unreconciled balances, coordinating with AR / AP / Payroll teams.Ensure proper documentation for all account reconciliations to support audits.Fixed Assets &
Depreciation
Management
Maintain the fixed asset register, recording additions, disposals, and transfers.Post depreciation journals and ensure alignment between sub-ledger and general ledger.Conduct annual physical verification and asset impairment testing as required.Support project capitalization and amortization tracking for software or IP-related assets.Intercompany &
Consolidation Activities
Record and reconcile intercompany transactions between regional entities (US, NZ, AU, EU).Prepare intercompany invoicing for cross-entity services or shared costs.Manage currency translation and consolidation adjustments.Support monthly consolidation of financials for Group reporting.Statutory & Management
Reporting
Prepare financial statements and reports required for statutory audits and management review.Support internal and external auditors by providing necessary schedules and reconciliations.Assist in preparing variance analysis for key financial KPIs and budget comparisons.Participate in preparation of tax audit schedules, trial balance review & audit.ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES

Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related fieldExperience
