Key Responsibilities
- Provide accounting advice, transactional support, and technical memo writing for mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, investments, structured finance, debt / equity offerings, leasing, and derivatives.
- Conduct research and interpretation of evolving accounting standards (US GAAP & IFRS) and assist in implementing new requirements.
- Perform technical research and analysis using guidance from FASB, SEC, IASB, and other accounting standards.
- Support accounting policy and governance initiatives.
- Ensure quality and timeliness in client deliverables, track engagement progress, and manage client expectations.
- Identify client service and engagement issues, benchmark client data against industry standards, and recommend improvements.
- Apply independent professional judgment in applying accounting standards and meeting engagement expectations.
- Stay updated on professional standards, industry trends, and firm policies; apply them effectively to moderately complex situations.
- Work under the guidance of Managers, Senior Managers, or Partners to ensure project success.
