Role Description
This is a full-time, onsite role for an HR Executive. The position involves overseeing end-to-end HR Operations, managing recruitment, handling employee relations, and implementing HR policies. The HR Executive will be responsible for ensuring compliance, coordinating onboarding and HR processes, and supporting organizational development initiatives. The role requires maintaining smooth HR operations aligned with the institute’s goals while fostering a positive and productive workplace environment.
Key Responsibilities
HR Operations & Administration
- Manage complete HR operations including onboarding, induction, employee documentation, HRMS updates, attendance and leave management, and exit formalities.
- Maintain accurate employee records and ensure compliance with statutory requirements such as PF, ESIC, Gratuity, Shops & Establishments Act, and POSH guidelines.
- Coordinate with the payroll team to process payroll inputs, salary revisions, reimbursements, and other monthly HR data.
Policy Creation & Process Development
Develop, review, and implement HR policies, SOPs, employee handbooks, and HR workflows aligned with Indian labor laws and organizational requirements.Ensure consistent application of HR policies across all departments and support leadership in strengthening HR governance.Employee Relations & Engagement
Act as the primary point of contact for employees regarding HR queries, grievances, and workplace concerns.Handle employee relations with professionalism, ensuring a positive, safe, and compliant work environment.Plan and execute employee engagement activities to enhance employee morale, productivity, and organizational culture.Recruitment & Performance Support
Coordinate end-to-end recruitment activities including job postings, screening, interview scheduling, and candidate communication.Support the performance management process, maintain appraisal documentation, and assist managers with evaluation procedures.Compliance & Reporting
Ensure adherence to all relevant Indian labor laws and regulatory requirements.Prepare HR reports, dashboards, and MIS data for management review.Liaise with external vendors, consultants, and government authorities as required.Qualifications & Skills
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.2–3 years of experience in HR Operations or HR Generalist roles.Strong understanding of Indian labor laws, statutory compliance, and HR best practices.Proven ability to create, implement, and manage HR policies independently.Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining confidentiality.Experience in the education sector or international organizations is an added advantage.
