Job description : We are seeking an experienced Assistant Manager - Online to lead and manage our online channels, with a focus on business development, sales management, marketplace operations, and customer relationship management. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in e-commerce from a premium D2C brand, driving both strategy and execution for revenue growth
Business Development :
- Identify and onboard new marketplaces to expand the company’s online presence and deliver the online AOP.
- Ensure business growth through the identification of potential marketplaces, negotiation of commercials, target setting, and onboarding.
Sales Management :
Plan and execute the Annual Operating Plan (AOP) to achieve sales targets through well-defined sales strategies, product promotion, optimisation of listing for allocated platforms, demand assortment and marketplace calendar management to improve AOV and margin performance along with shortfall planning.Collaborate with marketplace teams to explore opportunities for up-selling and cross-selling.Monitor and analyse platform performance, driving initiatives to reduce returns and improve conversion rates.Marketplace & Operations Management :
Implementing process - listing, hygiene check, discounts upload, timely filing of SPF claimsCoordinate with the warehousing team for the timely dispatch of orders to ensure account health is maintainedMonitor customer after-sales service, including customer complaints / returns for marketplacesMonitor and report on performance metrics of platforms, ensure new launches within TAT, monitor and report on OOS for all marketplaces.Coordinate with the finance team for marketplace account reconciliation & internal teams for smooth flow of businessCustomer Relationship Management :
Develop and maintain strong relationships with key customers and online platform teams.Address customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback to ensure high levels of satisfaction.Implement strategies for customer retention and loyalty, leveraging analytics and customer data insights.Reporting (D2D) :
Track key performance indicators (KPIs) and generate weekly / monthly reports on sales, marketplace performance, and inventory health.Escalate critical business issues and ensure timely resolution to maintain business continuity.
