Inviting applications for the role of Lead Consultant - Performance Engineer

In this role, the candidate will be responsible for ensuring high-quality software delivery by leveraging strong Performance and Automation expertise and a meticulous approach to quality assurance.

Responsibilities

• .Design, develop, and maintain reusable, modular, and scalable test scripts for functional, regression, and end-to-end testing.
• .Perform performance testing using tools like Locust or k6.
• .Build and maintain web automation frameworks using Selenium, Playwright, or Cypress.
• .Plan, manage, and execute test automation activities within project timelines.
• .Integrate automated tests into CI / CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, CircleCI, GitHub Actions, or LambdaTest.
• .Ensure application compatibility across browsers, platforms, and devices.
• .Conduct API testing and automation using Postman, REST-assured, or Request libraries.
• .Conduct UAT (User Acceptance Testing) as per project guidelines.
• .Manage test efforts using Jira for test case management, defect tracking, and reporting.
• .Maintain comprehensive test documentation, including automation strategy, test cases, execution logs, and defect reports.
• .Collaborate with development, QA, and product teams to align automation strategy with project goals.
• .Research and adopt best practices, tools, and methodologies to continuously improve test efficiency, scalability, and coverage.
• .Solid understanding of Agile methodologies (Scrum / Kanban).
• .Extensive experience as a Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) or QA Automation Engineer.
• .Strong programming skills in TypeScript and JavaScript (Python knowledge is a plus).
• .Hands-on experience with web and mobile test automation frameworks (Jest, Mocha, Cypress, Selenium, Playwright, Appium, Detox).
• .Proficiency in testing mobile applications (iOS / Android), particularly those built with React Native.
• .Familiarity with web applications developed using React / Next.js.
• .Solid experience in API testing and automation.
• .Good knowledge of databases (MongoDB, PostgreSQL) with ability to write queries for testing.
• .Experience setting up and maintaining CI / CD pipelines (Jenkins, CircleCI, GitHub Actions, LambdaTest).
• .Strong problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills.
• .Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• .Familiarity with testing payment systems and subscription models.
