Pre-Sales Engineer - IT Automation Solutions

Job descriptionDevelop technical responses to RFPs / RFIs, including architecture, effort estimation, and value proposition. Create impactful presentations, demos, and proof-of-concepts (PoCs) to showcase solution capabilities. Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies in observability, automation, and ITSM. Contribute to internal knowledge sharing, whitepapers, and best practices. Work closely with product, engineering, and delivery teams to ensure feasibility and alignment of proposed solutions. Mentor junior architects and presales consultants. 8–12 years of experience in IT infrastructure, operations, and enterprise architecture. Proven track record in presales or solution architecture roles with strong client engagement. Expertise in Observability & Monitoring tools : BMC, Microfocus (OpenText), Dynatrace, AppDynamics, Splunk, New Relic, Datadog, ScienceLogic, SolarWinds, etc. Strong knowledge of ITSM / ITOM platforms , especially ServiceNow (CMDB, Discovery, Event Management, Incident / Change Management). Hands-on experience with automation tools : Ansible, Puppet, Chef, Terraform. Proficiency in scripting languages : Python, PowerShell. Excellent communication and presentation skills. Ability to engage with C-level stakeholders. Strong problem-solving and analytical mindset. Experience in crafting solution strategies for large enterprise clients.

- Partner with sales and account teams to understand client needs and propose tailored observability and ITSM solutions.
- Lead technical discovery workshops to assess current environments and identify gaps.
- Design and present high-level and detailed solution architectures, including integration strategies and implementation roadmaps.
