Job Summary :
The Production Supervisor will oversee the end-to-end production of breakfast cereals — including extrusion, drying, coating, and packing operations — ensuring adherence to quality, safety, and productivity standards. The role demands hands-on technical knowledge of cereal processing and effective team management to achieve daily production and efficiency targets.
Key Responsibilities :
- Supervise day-to-day production activities across extrusion, blending, coating, baking, and packing lines.
- Ensure production as per plan, maintaining yield, quality, and line efficiency.
- Monitor process parameters such as moisture, temperature, drying time, and coating uniformity.
- Coordinate with Quality, Maintenance, and Stores for raw material availability, line readiness, and compliance.
- Ensure strict adherence to GMP, GHP, and food safety (HACCP / FSSC) protocols.
- Maintain batch production records, line clearance reports, and daily shift logs.
- Conduct line checks for hygiene, allergen control, and CCP (Critical Control Point) compliance.
- Train and supervise operators and contract workers on process control, equipment handling, and hygiene standards.
- Identify process deviations or equipment issues and initiate corrective actions promptly.
- Support process improvement, waste reduction, and cost optimization initiatives.
Requirements
Key Skills & Competencies :
Hands-on experience in extrusion , baking , or roasting lines used in breakfast cereal manufacturing.Good understanding of moisture control, coating systems , and product texture management .Knowledge of food safety systems (FSSC 22000 / BRCGS) and documentation compliance .Leadership and team management skills.Proficiency in MS Office / ERP for daily production reporting.Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.Willingness to work in shifts.Requirements
Key Responsibilities :
Prepare and review customer aging reports and ensure timely collection of payments.Reconcile customer ledgers and statements of accounts.Coordinate with sales and commercial teams for payment follow-ups and dispute resolution.Support month-end closings and audits by providing accurate aging data.Maintain proper documentation and adhere to company credit policies. Qualifications & Experience :Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Food Technology, or M.Com / B.Com.Minimum 2–3 years of experience in accounts receivable or credit control, preferably in the FMCG or food industry.Working knowledge of Tally / ERP systems and MS Excel.
