Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an Executive - SEZ Operations, located in Pune. The Executive will be responsible for managing daily operations related to Special Economic Zones, ensuring compliance with SEZ regulations, and coordinating with various departments. Tasks include documentation, reporting, and liaising with government authorities. The role also involves supporting the tax consulting team, monitoring SEZ activities, and ensuring smooth execution of operational procedures.

Key Responsibilities :

Handle DTA material inward and Out of Charge (OOC) processes in alignment with customs procedures and internal policies.

File Inter Unit Transfer (IUT) applications and obtain timely approvals to ensure uninterrupted material transitions between branches or units.

Issue DTA endorsements and DTA certificates to vendors promptly upon request.

Coordinate end-to-end customs clearance, working closely with Customs House Agents (CHAs) and internal stakeholders for timely and accurate gate clearance.

Manage all aspects of customs compliance and documentation, including filing of Bill of Entry (BOE) for import shipments and inter / intra zone material transfers.

Prepare and furnish data to customs authorities as required, ensuring full transparency and compliance.

Qualifications

• Strong Analytical Skills and the ability to interpret SEZ regulations
• Excellent Communication and Interpersonal Skills
• Ability to work effectively with teams and coordinate with multiple stakeholders
• Proficiency in documentation and reporting
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Commerce, or a related field
• Prior experience in SEZ operations or taxation consulting is a plus
