Deputy Manager- Project Management

Job Overview :

We are looking for an experienced Sr. Manager – Projects to lead and manage end-to-end project execution with a strong focus on design integration, vendor coordination, and cross-functional collaboration. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of engineering project lifecycles and will be responsible for overseeing multiple stakeholders to ensure timely, cost-effective, and quality project delivery.

Key Responsibilities :

Provide strategic direction and technical oversight across all phases of engineering projects.

Drive project planning, budgeting, execution, and monitoring in coordination with design, procurement, and construction teams.

Coordinate with multi-disciplinary teams (Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, etc.) to ensure design and execution alignment.

Manage external vendors, consultants, and contractors for timely and quality deliverables.

Ensure compliance with design codes, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.

Review and approve design documentation, BOQs, layout drawings, and technical specifications.

Conduct regular project reviews and progress tracking against defined milestones.

Mitigate project risks and resolve on-site or design-related issues proactively.

Support technical evaluations for procurement and support the team during installation and commissioning phases.

Key Requirements :

Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical / Electrical / Civil or related discipline).

10+ years of experience in project management within industrial, infrastructure, or EPC sectors.

Strong cross-functional technical understanding of MEP systems and allied services.

Proficiency in AutoCAD ; familiarity with Revit is an added advantage.

Excellent project management, vendor handling, and stakeholder communication skills.

Strong leadership and decision-making abilities, with a track record of timely project delivery.

Preferred Attributes :

PMP or equivalent project management certification (optional but desirable).

Experience in managing complex design and build projects in regulated industries.

Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects and lead cross-functional teams.
