Requirements :

• Master's Degree in Structural Engineering.
• Experience of 10+ years working in Design office.
• Chartered Engineer (MICE or MIStructE) will be preferred, but not essential.
• Extensive work experience in concrete and steel structures. Competent to use European and American design standards with ability to work independently.
• Experience in developing projects from concept to construction stage.
• Extensive experience of working on multi-discipline projects.
• Sound technical understanding, with established skills and delivery capability. This should include experience in the design of common structural materials as well as a good understanding of current design standards and working practices.
• Should have very good understanding of steel connection designs and constructability aspects.
• The ability to manage and guide the team to make decisions and dealing with complex technical situations.
• Proven experience on providing analytical solutions using the leading structural design software connection software is added advantage.
• Have experience, and a desire to, technically lead and collaborate within a technically orientated team.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to manage and work to budget and programme, to control costs and manage change control processes.
• Proven experience effectively managing Clients and other external stakeholders, both technically and commercially.
• A flexible attitude to both the type of work undertaken and the level of responsibility given.
• Experience of working with, and managing, small / medium sized focused technical teams.
• Flexible approach to work location.
• Ability to make decisions, act on your own initiative.
