Pegasystems - Senior Cloud Development Engineer - Observability Services

What You'll Do At Pega :

• Design and develop observability solutions for Pega Cloud hosted applications.
• Responsible for Micro services monitoring used in Pega Cloud services.
• Enable observability monitoring capabilities metric collections, logging and APM (tracing) with applications hosted in Pega Cloud service.
• Be familiar with Open telemetry standards for distributed tracing, open metric collection.
• Define KPIs, SLI, SLO and SLAs for micro services.
• Manage and maintain monitoring Pega tools and technologies.
• Responsible for correlation of Pega Infrastructure and Application metrics, error codes and logs; end-to-end monitoring from Customer request, load balancer, backend services (tomcat, java application, database, ping, network, etc.); and synthetic monitoring (simulation of customer request end-to-end).
• Work with Engineering (Pega product / Cloud engineering) towards achieving the common goal of availability monitoring, performance monitoring, application monitoring and enabling correlation between infrastructure and Work on automation and proactively build Pega solutions with team to enhance the current process.
• Provide feedback on bugs and customer experience enhancements.
• Operate, administer and automate solutions on Pega Cloud Stack.
• Responsible for problem discovery, analysis, and resolution.
• Use world class Pega cloud infrastructure and management technologies.
