Job Summary : u202F u00A0

You will work on AWS services including AWS Data Movement / Transformation, serverless technologies and orchestration platform like Apache Airflow / AWS MWAA etc. Goal will be to help qualify new AWS Services, provision & maintain Platforms and create CI / CD pipeline to automate entire deployment process. u00A0

This role offers the opportunity to work extensively with AWS PaaS and IaaS offerings, identifying and implementing solutions for data migration from on-premises to cloud environments, as well as cloud-to-cloud transfer . A key focus will be on enhancing service qualification and management through enterprise-grade automation. u00A0

You will also be responsible for maintaining cost-effective cloud environments while ensuring compliance with Lillyu2019s security standards . u00A0

In this role, you will work closely with Lilly SMEs, the Cloud Infrastructure team, and the Self-Service Enablement team to drive system enhancements and identify automation opportunities. u00A0

You Responsibilities : u202F u202F u00A0

Design and Implement CI / CD Pipelines : Design, deploy, and manage AWS cloud infrastructure to support business applications and services using GitHub Actions or any relevant tool . u00A0

Infrastructure as Code ( IaC ) Development : Using CloudFormation Templates or Terraform s to automate infrastructure provisioning. Apply modular and reusable code practices for cloud infrastructure deployment. u00A0

Source Code Management & Version Control : Manage Git repositories and branching strategies ( GitFlow , trunk-based development). Enforce pull request (PR) approvals, code reviews, and quality gates. Secure GitHub repos using GitHub advanced security. u202F u00A0

Monitoring, Logging & Observability : Set up AWS CloudWatch Monitor ing , and logs insights or Splunk for platform observability. Define alerting rules and dashboards for performance and availability. u00A0

Security, Identity, and Compliance : Understanding of AWS Identity centre for access management and Follow fine-grained IAM access. Periodic up gradations of cloud platforms and infrastructure s .u00A0 u00A0

Automation and Scripting : Automate routine tasks using PowerShell, Bash, or Python scripts. Create automation for Service provisioning and management through self-service portal. u202F u00A0

Collaboration with Lilly SMEs : Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and operation of platform services. u00A0

Performance Optimization and Scalability : Ensure high availability, security, and scalability of cloud-based systems with horizontal / vertical scaling strategies. u00A0

Incident Response, Troubleshooting, Operational Support and RCA : Provide L2 / L3 operational support for cloud and DevOps environments. Troubleshoot pipeline failures, deployment issues, and infrastructure outages. Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) and implement preventive measures. Provide timely and effective support to customers on an as-needed basis. Address and resolve technical issues, ensuring minimal disruption to services. u202F u00A0

Documentation & Trainings : Document system architectures, configurations, and operational / security procedures. Provide training and support to team members and participate in periodic reviews of documentation and processes. u00A0

Required Qualification : u202F u00A0

Bachelor's degree in computer science , Information Technology, or MCA or in related technical field. u00A0

At least 3 years of experience in a technical role supporting AWS cloud infrastructure and database administration. u00A0

Hands-on experience with AWS services such as AWS File Transfer Family , Datasync , Storage Gateway, Airflow, S3, Lambda, SNS, SQS, IAM, and CloudWatch and workflow orchestration platform like Apache Airflow and AWS MWAA. u00A0

Proficient in deploying, configuring, and managing AWS Data Movement services and optimizing theiru202Fperformance. u00A0

Experience designing and implementing infrastructure as code using AWS CloudFormation. u00A0

Strong scripting skills in Python for automation and operational efficiency. u00A0

Familiarity with CI / CD pipelines, preferably using GitHub Actions. u00A0

Strong knowledge of Airflow components and their configuration, scaling, and optimization. u00A0

Experience installing, configuring, and troubleshooting Apache Airflow on EC2, including handling dependencies, Python environments, certificates, and scaling workers / schedulers . u00A0

Ability to create and maintain comprehensive documentation for system configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting. u00A0

Willingness to work flexible hours, including non-standard shifts, weekends, and holidays as required to support 24 / 7 operations. u00A0

Strong collaboration skills to work effectively with application, network, and security teams. u00A0
