We are seeking a skilled BMC CMDB Support Engineer to manage and support our BMC environment. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with BMC's suite of products, including Action Request System, ITSM, and Atrium Core. This role involves a wide range of responsibilities, from customization and administration to integrations and upgrades, ensuring the stability and effectiveness of our IT service management systems.
Key Responsibilities
- BMC Platform Management : Handle the installation, upgrade, customization, administration, and support of BMC Remedy AR System , along with the ITSM Suite and applications.
- Configuration & Administration : Configure and administer various components, including Foundation data, Approval Server, Remedy Knowledge Management, and Service Level Management.
- Service Request Management : Perform administrative tasks for Service Request Management , such as creating Service Request Definitions (SRDs) and Advanced Interface Forms (AIFs).
- Integrations : Integrate BMC systems with third-party applications like IBM Maximo, IBM Websphere, xMatters, and Lotus Notes .
- Reporting & Discovery : Work with Smart Reporting and Smart IT . Manage the upgrade, administration, and support of the BMC Atrium Discovery and Dependency Mapping (ADDM) tool and its synchronization with the CMDB.
- Atrium Core Expertise : Handle Atrium Core , Asset Management, Reconciliation, Normalization, and Spoon Job creation activities.
- Technical Skills : Utilize technologies like DSO (Distributed System Object), Email Engine, Web Service, and REST APIs .
