Job Summary :
This is a founding Product Manager role at Supahealth, a B2B SaaS company building an AI platform to transform behavioral healthcare. You will work directly with the founder to define and execute the product strategy for a zero-to-one product. This high-impact role requires a blend of product leadership, technical acumen, and a deep understanding of complex healthcare workflows. You will be instrumental in leveraging AI agents and automation to optimize clinic revenue and operational efficiency, all while navigating the complexities of healthcare regulations.
Key Responsibilities :
- Product Strategy and Roadmap : Define a data-driven product vision and roadmap. Prioritize features by quantifying their impact on key metrics like claim acceptance rates, denial management efficiency, and operational cost reduction through automation.
- Customer Discovery and Technical Feasibility : Conduct deep-dive user research and quantitative analysis to map behavioral health clinic workflows. Uncover technical and operational pain points in the revenue cycle. Translate insights into product requirements that are both technically feasible and strategically impactful.
- Feature Definition and Design : Author detailed product requirements and user stories with clear technical specifications. Define the interaction models for AI agents that handle tasks like pre-authorization, eligibility verification, and claims submission. Design prototypes and user flows that simplify complex, multi-step healthcare workflows.
- Cross-functional Collaboration : Serve as the bridge between business needs and engineering execution. Work closely with engineering to translate intricate healthcare logic into intuitive user interfaces and scalable backend services. Ensure product specifications account for data models, API schemas, and platform integrations.
- AI / LLM-Specific Responsibilities : Define the functional specifications for AI-powered agents and automation tools. This includes outlining the logic for natural language understanding (NLU), intent recognition, and the underlying decision-making rules for autonomous workflows.
- Go-to-Market & Analytics : Collaborate on go-to-market (GTM) strategies. Define key performance indicators (KPIs) and use analytics tools to measure product adoption and feature usage. Use data to inform product iterations and prove the value of the platform.
- Regulatory & Security Compliance : Ensure all product features adhere to stringent healthcare regulations such as HIPAA. Design data privacy and security controls into the platform architecture from the ground up to protect protected health information (PHI).
Required Skills & Qualifications :
2-5 years of product management experience in B2B SaaS, healthcare technology, or AI / ML-driven products.Strong analytical skills with a proven ability to use SQL, business intelligence tools, and quantitative methods to drive product decisions.Demonstrated experience in a zero-to-one product development environment, preferably in a fast-paced startup.Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear business requirements and user stories.Experience with AI agent workflows, LLMs, and automation tools is a significant plus.Familiarity with healthcare IT standards (HL7, FHIR) and a solid understanding of compliance frameworks (HIPAA, SOC 2).A user-centric mindset with experience in qualitative and quantitative user research methods to uncover and validate product insights.(ref : hirist.tech)
