Position Summary :
We are seeking an accomplished and results-driven Manager Print Media Advertising Sales to spearhead revenue growth through strategic client acquisition, media partnerships, and innovative advertising solutions. The ideal candidate will bring extensive expertise in print media advertising sales, corporate sales, and media partnerships, along with a strong network of agencies and brands. This is a high-impact role requiring strong business acumen, client engagement skills, and the ability to deliver measurable business outcomes in a competitive market landscape.
Key Responsibilities :
Client Acquisition & Business Growth :
- Identify, prospect, and onboard new clients across industries for print and cross-media advertising partnerships.
- Build, manage, and expand a robust sales pipeline to meet and exceed quarterly and annual revenue targets.
- Drive consultative selling by offering customized advertising strategies aligned with client objectives.
Relationship Management & Market Engagement :
Develop and nurture long-term relationships with media agencies, corporate advertisers, and direct clients.Act as a trusted advisor to clients, providing data-backed recommendations to optimize their media investments.Ensure high levels of client satisfaction, repeat business, and account growth through proactive engagement.Strategic Sales Operations :
Negotiate contracts, pricing models, and deliverables while balancing profitability and client value.Partner with internal teams (editorial, design, and ad-ops) to ensure smooth campaign execution.Conduct regular business reviews with key accounts to drive retention and upsell opportunities.Market Insights & Competitive Intelligence :
Conduct in-depth market research to stay ahead of industry trends, audience insights, and competitor strategies.Identify emerging opportunities in media consumption patterns and propose innovative revenue models.Collaborate with leadership to refine go-to-market strategies and pricing frameworks.Skills & Competencies :
Strong network and established relationships with media agencies, brands, and corporate advertisers.Proven track record of consistently achieving and exceeding sales and revenue growth targets.Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills with C-suite stakeholders.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to leverage data for decision-making.Expertise in MS Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word); familiarity with CRM systems and digital ad platforms is a plus.Self-motivated, target-driven, and adaptable to a dynamic and fast-paced Bachelors degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Mass Communication, Media Studies, or related fields.Preferred Qualification : MBA / PGDM from a reputed institute.
Experience : 38 years in Print Media Advertising Sales, Corporate Sales, or Media Sales, preferably within a News Publishing ecosystem.
