Knowledge & Experience -
Management Experience / Achieved well-advanced skills of a specific professional discipline combining deep knowledge of theory and organizational practice or expertise. Recognized expert in their field (depth & breadth).
Typically requires 5-8 years extensive relevant experience and / or a graduate / postgraduate equivalent degree.
- 5+ years of overall experience in Automation
- Experience leading or managing an Automation Team
- Working with geographically distributed team across multiple time zones
- 3-5 years Infrastructure or Solution Architecture Experience designing and implementing cloud-based solution automation for PaaS, IaaS or SaaS.
- Hands on experience with one of the three primary public clouds : AWS, GCP (preferred), or Azure.
- Experience designing and implementing the foundational elements in a cloud architecture
- Knowledge or experience designing and implementing automation solutions like Infrastructure as Code (IAC) solutions to build up and tear down infrastructure using Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, GCP Deployment Manager, or Azure DevOps
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills as well as the ability to work effectively across internal and external organizations.
- Experience designing with AWX / Ansible Automation.

Managing the Engineering Automation TeamAutomate efficient, secure, adaptable, scalable, and reliable cloud solutions (data, networking, application)Drive all technical design and execution activities for moving existing on-premise infrastructure, server workloads, data and applications to the cloud IaaS and PaaS architectures.Communicate and socialize automation designs decisions.Communicate with senior leaders regarding the architecture, discuss problems and recommend solutions and improvements.Interact and work with application and business team members to provide the optimal environment for applications to deliver business functionality.Introduce and develop Infrastructure automation in the environment including IAC, CI / CD pipelines, and automated configuration management.Migration of workloads from on-premise / datacenter to CloudDrive self-service automation initiativesDrive Product roadmap for Azure, GCP and AWSDrive generative AI initiativesAnticipates internal and external business challenges based on working experience and / or regulatory issues and drives independently improvements that create competitive advantage.Provides guidance on projects solution design compliance with enterprise architecture and makes recommendations for alignment, quality and efficiency based on experience.Skills Required
