Job Description :

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Technical Lead (Automation) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in automation frameworks, API testing, and end-to-end test automation, along with proven leadership in guiding automation teams.

This role involves working closely with cross-functional teams in a global delivery environment to ensure high-quality product releases.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Lead automation initiatives, including framework development, maintenance, and enhancement.
  • Analyze user stories, perform design analysis, and create robust API test scenarios.
  • Develop and execute automation test scripts using Java, JavaScript, RestAssured, and related tools.
  • Validate APIs, integrate test automation into CI / CD pipelines, and ensure seamless execution.
  • Collaborate with product owners, developers, and QA teams to understand requirements and deliver effective automation solutions.
  • Ensure adherence to Agile and DevOps practices throughout the software development lifecycle.
  • Provide mentorship, technical guidance, and support to junior automation engineers.
  • Participate in requirement reviews, sprint planning, and retrospectives to continuously improve automation processes.
  • Monitor test coverage, identify gaps, and suggest improvements for quality assurance.
  • Work in a diverse stakeholder environment, ensuring effective communication and alignment across teams.
  • Support global delivery projects and ensure adherence to timelines and quality benchmarks.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

  • Minimum 8 years of experience in test automation and QA engineering.
  • Strong expertise in Java, JavaScript, RestAssured, and API automation frameworks.
  • Solid understanding of Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC), QA methodologies, and best practices.
  • Hands-on experience with Agile and DevOps methodologies (CI / CD, Jenkins, Git, etc.).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills for working with global teams.
  • Proven ability to work in cross-functional teams and handle multiple stakeholders.

    • Good to Have :

  • Background in Telecom or Cable domain.
  • Exposure to UI automation frameworks like Selenium or Cypr
