Job descriptionBachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field 5-12 years of experience in storage administration Strong knowledge of storage technologies such as SAN, NAS and DAS Experience with backup and recovery solutions such as Veritas NetBackup Experience with cloud-based storage solutions such as AWS S3 Strong knowledge of RAID, clustering and virtualization technologies Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Strong communication and collaboration skills Experience with scripting languages such as Python or PowerShell Certifications in storage technologies such as EMC, NetApp or HP are preferred
Description
We are seeking a skilled Senior Storage Administrator with 5-12 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in storage technologies and be able to manage large-scale storage environments. They should also have experience with backup and recovery solutions, as well as experience with cloud-based storage solutions.
Responsibilities
- Design, deploy and manage large-scale storage environments
- Provide support for backup and recovery solutions
- Work with cloud-based storage solutions
- Manage storage infrastructure and capacity planning
- Ensure storage systems are highly available, secure and reliable
- Collaborate with other teams to ensure storage solutions meet business requirements
- Develop and maintain storage documentation and procedures
