Role Description
A Telecaller in an NBFC (Non-Banking Financial Company) is responsible for making outbound calls to potential customers, promoting various financial products like loans, credit cards, or investment schemes, explaining their features and benefits, qualifying leads, and ultimately converting them into paying customers by addressing their financial needs and concerns, all while maintaining a strong understanding of the company's policies and guidelines.
Key responsibilities of a Telecaller :
Actively reach out to potential customers through cold calling, utilizing provided lead lists to generate interest in the company's financial products.
Clearly articulate the details of various NBFC products like personal loans, business loans, credit cards, fixed deposits, etc., explaining features, interest rates, eligibility criteria, and repayment terms.
Assess customer needs and financial profile to determine their suitability for specific products and identify potential leads.
Persuade potential customers to apply for desired financial products by addressing their concerns and highlighting the benefits of choosing the NBFC.
Regularly contact leads and prospects to nurture relationships, answer queries, and guide them through the application process.
Maintain accurate customer information in the CRM system, logging call details, and updating lead status.
Ensure all sales activities comply with regulatory guidelines and company policies regarding customer communication and data privacy.
Required skills for a Telecaller :
Ability to clearly explain complex financial products and effectively engage with customers over the phone.
Confidence to present products convincingly and overcome customer objections.
Understanding customer needs and concerns to tailor the sales pitch accordingly.
Thorough understanding of various NBFC products, their terms and conditions, and market trends.
Familiarity with customer relationship management software to manage leads and customer interactions.
