Business Development Manager
We are seeking a proactive and results-oriented Business Development Manager (BDM) to drive sales initiatives and expand our presence in the IT sector. The ideal candidate will possess strong account management skills, a strategic mindset, and the ability to engage with C-level executives to build lasting partnerships and consistently exceed sales targets.
Key Responsibilities :
- Develop and execute Go-to-Market (GTM) strategies to promote IT products and solutions to target markets.
- Utilize deep industry knowledge to recommend and implement solutions that address client needs and challenges.
- Manage and grow key enterprise accounts, ensuring customer satisfaction while identifying upselling and cross-selling opportunities.
- Proactively build and manage a robust sales pipeline, driving deals to closure and consistently achieving sales targets.
- Create and implement comprehensive Account Business Plans (ABPs) with both transactional and strategic actions to increase market share and company presence.
- Conduct thorough discovery sessions to understand client use cases, current challenges, and business objectives.
- Oversee the post-sales lifecycle, including onboarding, adoption, and expansion opportunities within accounts.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as Channel Partners, Presales, Marketing, Professional Services, and Product to deliver seamless client experiences.
- Take ownership of account and service delivery outcomes, including financial and resource management.
- Work across teams and departments to meet revenue, profitability, and customer satisfaction goals.
- Continuously analyze market trends and sales performance to refine account strategies.
- Manage RFP responses and follow up with prospects to align solutions with business and Skills :
- MBA from a reputed institute (mandatory).
- Minimum 4 years of relevant experience in IT sales, business development, or account management.
- Proven ability to meet and exceed sales targets in a B2B IT environment.
- Strong expertise in account management, sales pipeline development, and strategic sales execution.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills with the ability to engage C-level executives.
- Ability to design and implement effective sales and GTM strategies.
- Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills and a deep understanding of client business challenges.
- Collaborative approach with experience working across multiple internal teams to achieve goals.
