What you need to know about the role

This role will allow you to work on several new initiatives involving PayPal Wallets with high visibility within the Company. The individual selected for this role will be working on solutions spanning multiple components / platforms, helping them broaden their domain understanding. These initiatives are critical for expanding PayPal's Customer outreach which in turn has a direct bearing on increasing PayPal revenue.

Job Description : Your way to impact

You will be responsible for working with a team of engineers in the design, development, testing, and deployment of a range of products on web and mobile platforms. A successful candidate will have an established background in developing customer-facing experiences, strong technical ability, excellent project execution skills, great communication skills, and a motivation to achieve results in a fast-paced environment.

Your day-to-day activities

• Be able to independently design, code, and test complex features, as well as lead and mentor other engineers, help build engineering teams
• Drive both technology and product innovation through rapid prototyping and iterative development
• Be a technical subject matter expert and represent the full internal and external capabilities of the platform.
• Lead complex architectural discussions that involve multiple systems
• Identify any product / functionality gaps and collaborate with internal product and technology teams to define the necessary development to support solution delivery.
• Drive integration efforts and lead critical work streams of strategic initiatives sponsored by senior executives
• Drive engineering excellence through CI / CD
• Proactive response in identifying and troubleshooting integration or technical issues.
• Write tests for the existing and newly created code to maintain compatibility
