About Indirect Tax : We assist businesses in Indirect Tax advisory, compliances, transaction structuring, health check and refund related assignments We also assist in review and optimization of input tax credit, reconciliation of input tax credit, vendor management, anti-profiteering related study and other GST & Customs policy advocacy representation matters. We provide comprehensive representation and litigation support services in existing or potential legal proceedings before regulatory / governmental authorities We also offer support related to one time settlement schemes. Core Indirect Tax Role & responsibilities : ~ The incumbent will handle engagements related to GST and other Indirect Tax Laws, Appeals, Tax Restructuring, Tax Advisory and consulting pertaining to GST, Customs, FTP or SEZ compliance. The profile will also involve dealing with Indirect Tax Compliance. ~ Analysis & Interpretation of Provisions under the GST Act & Rules framed thereunder, Customs Act & Rules thereunder, Indirect Tax Compliances including. Builds internal networks to develop an understanding of service line offerings and bring potential opportunities to the attention of the team. ~ Networking & Identification of opportunities-Begins to identify new opportunities for existing clients and communicates to the manager. Networks internally within the peer group and other levels in the firm in order to gain an understanding of issues that may impact issues with his clients.
