Experience : 3–5 years(post qualification)

Type : Full-Time | Contractual

Role Overview :

We are looking for an early-career professional in Legal journalism, reporting, tax research, writing, and analysis to join our Indirect Tax team.

You will support the GST function by drafting high-quality law reports on judgments, notifications, and court proceedings, backed by thorough research and interpretation. This role offers hands-on exposure and the opportunity to develop deep expertise in indirect tax.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Write concise headnotes, tax news reports by interpreting and summarizing case laws, legislative and policy changes.
  • Attend court virtual or physical (wherever possible) court hearings, and prepare a precision news report .
  • Interpret and summarize legislative and policy changes
  • Prepare concise and accurate summaries and reports within deadlines.
  • Maintain and regularly update tax databases and content repositories

Skills & Attributes :

  • Basic knowledge of GST, Customs, Service Tax, Excise, VAT, Sales Tax etc
  • Strong research and analytical skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication in English
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Proactive and responsible, with the ability to handle urgent tasks
  • Eager to learn and grow in the field of indirect tax
