We are looking for an experienced L3 Application Support Engineer with strong expertise in the Investment Banking domain, preferably within Market Risk . The role involves providing high-level technical and functional support, ensuring stability, performance, and compliance of business-critical risk applications.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver Level 3 (L3) technical support for Market Risk applications in a production environment.
- Investigate and resolve complex production incidents by analyzing logs, code, and database queries.
- Collaborate closely with development teams to identify root causes and implement permanent fixes.
- Oversee audit and compliance activities, ensuring process adherence and documentation accuracy.
- Drive process improvement and automation to enhance system reliability and operational efficiency.
- Perform proactive monitoring and analysis to prevent potential issues.
- Communicate effectively with business users and stakeholders on incident status and resolutions.
Required Skills & Experience
Proven experience in Investment Banking or Market Risk domain.Strong proficiency in SQL (mandatory).Hands-on experience providing L3 production / application support in a complex enterprise environment.Solid understanding of ITIL processes and incident / problem management.Excellent analytical, debugging, and troubleshooting skills.Strong communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management abilities.Consulting mindset with experience in process and workflow optimization.Skills : application support,l3,itil
