The Systems Monitoring Specialist role is pivotal in maintaining the stability of banking and payments systems. The primary responsibility involves promptly escalating critical issues to ensure seamless system operation.

This position requires continuous monitoring of system alerts and dashboards during assigned shifts. A keen eye for detail, coupled with the ability to stay focused under pressure, is essential for identifying and differentiating between warnings and critical issues.

Effective communication skills are necessary for clear escalation of alerts to technical or operations teams. Moreover, logging incidents accurately in the ticketing system and handing over ongoing issues clearly to the next shift are also key responsibilities.
