Job descriptionBachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field. 5+ years of experience as a DBA managing multi-platform database environments. Proven experience in data migration between SQL, Oracle, MongoDB, and cloud-based systems. Expertise in AWS DMS, Schema Conversion Tool, Data Pipeline, or similar data migration technologies. Strong proficiency in performance tuning and indexing. Familiarity with AWS services and strong SQL scripting skills. Excellent problem-solving and communication skills. AWS Certified Database – Specialty or equivalent certification. Experience with real-time data replication or streaming. Knowledge of data governance and compliance frameworks.

About the Role : ">
- Design, implement, and maintain data infrastructure solutions using Amazon Redshift, MongoDB, SQL Server, and Oracle platforms.
- Lead data migration projects across heterogeneous databases, ensuring seamless transitions with minimal downtime.
- Create ETL pipelines for data extraction, transformation, and loading, utilizing scripting languages to automate tasks.
- Monitor and optimize database performance, implementing strategies to improve query execution times and reduce latency.
- Develop backup and disaster recovery plans to ensure high availability and data integrity.
- Maintain access control, encryption, and compliance with security policies, troubleshooting complex database issues as needed.
- Collaborate with data engineering and application teams to integrate data infrastructure solutions into larger business applications.
- Document database configurations and migration plans, providing training and support to junior team members.
