Enable Real Estate Developers and Builders to raise 'Affordable' Construction Finance.Major Deliverables
- Source new relationships, loan originations, and manage the varied needs / requirements of real estate developers and builders, including construction finance and project finance.
- Evaluate credit, legal, and technical aspects of a real estate project.
- Create and manage relationships with builders, developers, real estate intermediaries, brokers, funds, and industry experts to build a dynamic database of contacts and data sources.
Principal Accountabilities
Business Development / Deal Origination
- Support acquisition of new business from existing client groups by active engagement, research, and sector tracking.
- Provide customized solutions for clients' financial requirements.
Credit Appraisal and Due Diligence
- Execute transactions by conducting detailed appraisal and due diligence of projects / proposals (technical, financial, legal, regulatory).
- Prepare customized Appraisal Notes, including Promoter Analysis, Reference Checks, Market Research, Regulatory Risk Analysis, Financial Modelling, SWOT analysis, and Term Sheet preparation.
- Support negotiations and present proposals to the Investment Committee.
Closure of Financing Document
- Prepare draft legal, commercial, and contractual documents and participate in negotiations with clients, legal counsel, and internal departments for successful closure of documents.
- Coordinate with internal departments (Legal, Risk, Compliance, Accounts) and external entities (banks, legal counsel, clients) to complete the process of security creation, compliance, and disbursement.
Portfolio Management
- Actively monitor projects post-financing with regular engagement with external stakeholders (clients, consultants, financial institutions) and internal stakeholders (Risk, Asset Management, Accounts, Legal teams).
