Responsibilities

Operational

Supervisetheentireshiftoperationsintermsofinbound,outboundandtransitoperationsforshipmentsmainlyinterms of tally,documentationandloading operations for

o Ensuringtimelyandaccurateconnectionsofshipmentsontotheapprovedgroundnetwork

o Ensuringthetimelyand accuratedispatchofinboundloadstotherespectiveservicecenters / PUDs / DCs / directly to customersduring theshift

Ensure on time arrival and departures of all loads during the shift Coordinate with origin to provideinformationonloadarrivalsandensuretimelyfurtherconnectionsofshipmentstodestinationasperscheduled runs

Ensure smooth conduct of activities related to Point to Point operations, Multi-level billing operationsand EDL / ODAoperations duringtheshift

Manageconnectionsofdailyinboundandoutboundshipmentsontherailnetwork

IncaseofRailoperations,ensuretimelyloadconnectionsandreceiptofloadstoandfromtherailwaystations

Ensure appropriate and accurate completion of paperwork and documentation for necessary regulatoryclearances(octroi,salestax,etc.)forallinbound,outboundandtransit loadsduringtheshift

Coordinatewithcheck-postsandnakasforclearanceofshipments

Overseetheworkofsupervisorsintheshifttoensureadherencetotheoperationalworkflows,andStandardOperatingProcedures (SOPs)attheground hub

Coordinate and manage all cases of network changes, priority runs, misconnections, etc. occurring duringtheshiftProvidecommunicationregardingthesametotheconcernedPUDCenters / ServiceCenters

Ensurecodeupdationsformisconnections,misroutes,wrongtagging,oranysuchissuesandensuremailcommunicationto therequired locations regardingthe same
