Storage Incharge

Key Responsibilities :

• Supervise day-to-day warehouse / storage operations, including receiving, storing, issuing, and dispatching goods.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and perform regular stock checks, audits, and reconciliations.
• Monitor inward and outward movement of materials and ensure proper documentation (GRN, gate pass, delivery challans, etc.).
• Ensure proper labeling, stacking, and storage of materials to prevent damage and ease retrieval.
• Coordinate with procurement, logistics, and production teams to ensure stock availability and timely supply.
• Implement and monitor FIFO / LIFO inventory methods, safety standards, and cleanliness of the storage area.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly MIS reports on inventory status, stock levels, and discrepancies.
• Identify and report slow-moving, obsolete, or damaged stock.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and statutory regulations related to storage and material handling.
• Train and supervise store assistants or warehouse staff, ensuring operational efficiency and discipline.
