Senior Software Tester

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Automation Software Tester to join our dynamic Quality Assurance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing automated tests to ensure the quality and reliability of our software products. This role requires strong proficiency in Java, Selenium WebDriver, Rest Assured for API testing, and XPath for robust element identification.

Responsibilities :

• Design, develop, and maintain robust, scalable, and reusable automation test scripts using Java and Selenium WebDriver.
• Implement and execute API automation tests using Rest Assured for RESTful web services.
• Utilize XPath effectively for accurate and resilient identification of web elements within automation scripts.
• Collaborate with developers and product owners to understand new features and functionalities, ensuring comprehensive test coverage.
• Analyze test results, identify defects, and report them accurately and clearly in a defect tracking system.
• Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle, from requirements gathering to deployment.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of the automation framework and testing processes.
• Perform root cause analysis of issues and provide detailed steps for reproducibility.
• Work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies in software testing and automation.
