Deputy Manager / Manager Pharmacy Operations (Hospital Floor Role).
Location : Medanta, Gurugram (Sector 38).
Working Days : 6 Days (Work from lead and guide a team of pharmacists and pharmacy assistants in managing pharmacy operations across hospital floors, ensuring efficient discharge services, accurate medication fulfilment, and a seamless patient experience. The role focuses on driving operational excellence, strengthening patient engagement, optimizing discharge conversions, and enhancing overall pharmacy revenue performance.
Key Oversee daily pharmacy operations on hospital floors to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and compliance with hospital protocols.
- Ensure timely dispensing of discharge medications as per prescriptions, minimizing delays and errors.
- Streamline coordination with clinical and administrative teams to facilitate smooth discharge workflows.
Sales & Drive discharge pharmacy conversions by ensuring complete fulfilment of patient medication requirements.
Monitor floor-wise performance metrics, analyze conversion data, and implement action plans to achieve revenue and service targets.Identify opportunities to enhance patient engagement and cross-selling of prescribed or supportive therapies.Team Lead and supervise a team of pharmacists and pharmacy assistants deployed across hospital floors.
Coach, motivate, and evaluate team members to ensure consistent service quality and adherence to SOPs.Conduct regular performance reviews and initiate corrective or developmental interventions where needed.Customer / Patient Foster a patient-centric culture, ensuring courteous, informative, and prompt service delivery.
Guide the team in patient communication, counselling, and handling of queries related to medications and billing.Address escalations effectively, ensuring patient satisfaction and positive feedback.Inventory & Process Monitor availability of discharge-related medicines across hospital floors to ensure uninterrupted service
Coordinate with central pharmacy and procurement teams for timely replenishment and stock optimization.Ensure adherence to proper documentation, billing accuracy, and hospital quality standards.Training & Identify training needs and organize skill enhancement programs focused on service delivery, communication, and product knowledge.
Promote continuous improvement by sharing best practices and fostering a learning-oriented & Quality Ensure compliance with hospital policies, statutory requirements, and audit readiness.Maintain high standards of documentation, safety, and hygiene across all pharmacy touchpoints.Drive process standardization and contribute to the development and review of SOPs.Qualifications & in Pharmacy (B.Pharm / D.Pharm) will add an 10-15 years of experience in hospital pharmacy operations, with at least 35 years in a managerial role.
Strong understanding of hospital discharge workflows, pharmacy operations, and patient engagement.Proven track record in leading teams, driving performance, and improving discharge-to-pharmacy conversion rates.Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.Service-oriented mindset with a commitment to operational excellence and patient satisfaction.Flexible to work in hospital-based rotational shifts, if required.(ref : iimjobs.com)
