Virtualization Engineer (Linux)

We are seeking an experienced Virtualization Engineer with strong Linux expertise to design, implement, and manage enterprise-grade virtualization platforms. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in virtualization technologies, Linux administration, performance optimization, and troubleshooting across large-scale environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and manage virtualization platforms (VMware, KVM, Hyper-V, Xen, or OpenStack).
• Deploy and administer Linux servers (RHEL, CentOS, Ubuntu, SUSE) in virtualized and bare-metal environments.
• Design and implement virtual infrastructure for high availability, scalability, and security.
• Manage storage integration (SAN, NAS, iSCSI, NFS) with virtual platforms.
• Monitor, optimize, and troubleshoot virtual machines, hosts, and clusters.
• Automate provisioning and configuration using tools like Ansible, Puppet, or Terraform.
• Implement backup, recovery, and disaster recovery strategies for virtualized workloads.
• Collaborate with application, network, and security teams to deliver end-to-end solutions.
• Maintain system documentation, SOPs, and provide L2 / L3 level support.
• Stay updated on virtualization and Linux technology trends, applying best practices.
