Associate Director Information Systems - Server and Virtualization

As the Associate Director, Information Systems - Server and Virtualization , you will lead and oversee the day-to-day operations of the company's global server and virtualization infrastructure. This is an onsite role based in Hyderabad. You will manage a team of senior managers and engineers, driving operational excellence and continuous improvement. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in leading Compute (WINTEL & Linux) and Virtualization (VMWare, Nutanix, Citrix) Infrastructure Operations and a passion for fostering innovation in a sophisticated and constantly evolving technology landscape.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Team Leadership & Development : Lead and develop a successful team of server and virtualization senior managers and engineers through recruitment, performance management, and career development. You will optimize resource allocation and shift coverage for 24 / 7 operations.
• Operational Strategy & Management : Establish and maintain operational metrics, SLAs , and performance standards. You will monitor and manage the enterprise server infrastructure, leading incident response and problem management for critical server issues.
• Security & Compliance : Oversee the implementation and maintenance of server security policies and procedures. You will ensure server compliance with regulatory requirements and generate regular reports on server performance, availability, and incident analysis.
• Strategic Partnership : Partner with business collaborators to understand and support organizational needs. You will drive continuous improvement initiatives in server operations and align with business objectives.
