Novo Insurance Broking Services is an IRDAI-licensed, fast-growing insurance broking company, offering innovative insurance and reinsurance solutions to corporates across industries. We are expanding our reinsurance vertical and looking for a Reinsurance Business Development Manager to drive growth and build strong relationships with clients and reinsurers.
Role Overview :
- The Reinsurance Business Development Manager will be responsible for generating new business opportunities, developing client relationships, managing reinsurance placements, and ensuring profitable growth of the reinsurance portfolio.
- The role requires a strong combination of sales acumen, technical knowledge of reinsurance products, and relationship management skills.
Key Responsibilities :
Identify and develop new business opportunities in treaty and facultative reinsurance.Build and maintain strong relationships with insurers, reinsurers, and corporate clients.Understand client needs and design effective reinsurance solutions.Negotiate terms, pricing, and coverage with reinsurers to deliver optimal outcomes.Collaborate with internal broking, underwriting, and claims teams to support client requirements.Track market trends, competitor activities, and emerging opportunities in reinsurance.Achieve business development targets while ensuring compliance with IRDAI Postgraduate in Insurance, Finance, or related field (Insurance certifications like ACII, FIII preferred).5-10 years of experience in reinsurance business development with a broker, insurer, or reinsurer.Strong understanding of reinsurance products, structures, and markets.Proven track record in client acquisition and relationship management.Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.(ref : iimjobs.com)
