KEY DELIVERABLES
Insurance Program Management :
- Develop, implement, and manage comprehensive insurance programs – For Marine, Fire, Project & Other policies.
- Float RFQ, compare, evaluate, and negotiate insurance quotes, and policy placements to ensure optimal coverage and cost-effectiveness.
Risk Assessment and Mitigation :
Conduct regular risk assessments to identify potential risks, liabilities, and areas of exposure.Develop and implement risk management strategies to mitigate identified risks.Claims Management :
Manage insurance claims with existing and future brokers, including investigation, survey, documentation, and settlementProduct / Project / Marine / Travel etc.Collaborate with legal and compliance teams to handle complex claims and litigation.Regulatory Compliance :
Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal insurance audit regulations.Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry regulations and standards.Policy Administration :
Maintain accurate records of all insurance policies and related documentation.Update insurance policies as needed to reflect changes in company operations or profile.Reporting and Analysis :
Prepare regular MIS reports on insurance costs, claims, and risk management activities.Declarations to Insurance Companies :
Submit monthly Stock declarations.Submit monthly STOP declarations.JOB DESCRIPTION
Finance & Accounts Management :
Adherence to and ensuring to Insurance SOP of the Company.Reconcile CD statements for insurance payments and confirmations.Utilize SAP system expertise.Facilitate Finance Reporting and monthly Accounts closing activities.Reviewing past issues raised by Auditors (Internal & Statutory / External), GST, and resolving them and mitigating / minimizing the issues.ESSENTIAL ATTRIBUTES
Post Graduate- preferably in Insurance / Risk ManagementMinimum 2-3 years preferable from Manufacturing / Project / Insurance companiesREPORTING TO
