Assistant Manager – Insurance & Risk Management

Job descriptionConduct regular risk assessments to identify potential risks, liabilities, and areas of exposure. Develop and implement risk management strategies to mitigate identified risks. Manage insurance claims with existing and future brokers, including investigation, survey, documentation, and settlement Product / Project / Marine / Travel etc. Collaborate with legal and compliance teams to handle complex claims and litigation. Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal insurance audit regulations. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry regulations and standards. Maintain accurate records of all insurance policies and related documentation. Update insurance policies as needed to reflect changes in company operations or profile. Prepare regular MIS reports on insurance costs, claims, and risk management activities. Submit monthly Stock declarations. Submit monthly STOP declarations. Adherence to and ensuring to Insurance SOP of the Company. Reconcile CD statements for insurance payments and confirmations. Utilize SAP system expertise. Facilitate Finance Reporting and monthly Accounts closing activities. Reviewing past issues raised by Auditors (Internal & Statutory / External), GST, and resolving them and mitigating / minimizing the issues. Post Graduate- preferably in Insurance / Risk Management Minimum 2-3 years preferable from Manufacturing / Project / Insurance companies
